Emergency Preparedness for Child Care Providers: Refresh Course

Thanks to funding provided by the Maryland State Department of Education, the registration fee for this event is only $5.

This training teaches child care providers to respond to and recover from emergencies.  Participants will identify and discuss emergencies that may affect their program.  Addressing the emotional needs of children will also be discussed.  Participants will identify resources to support emergency preparedness.  Participants should bring a copy of their program’s emergency plan to the training. 

Core of Knowledge Area: Health Safety and Nutrition (3 Hours)
