Including Little Learners Series – Learning the Basics: Cerebral Palsy

The registration fee for this event is only $5 courtesy of the Maryland State Department of Education Specialized Training for Caregivers and Child Care Providers Grant.
This training will provide participants with a foundational understanding of cerebral palsy. Through engaging activities and discussions, participants will learn strength based approaches to working with children with cerebral palsy.
In order to receive a certificate of completion for core of knowledge hours, providers MUST attend the entire series, including all 3 parts.
Part 1: January 23, 2023 (6:30 pm-8:30 pm)
Core of Knowledge: Special Needs (2 hours)
Coaching and Support Sessions
Enhanced Technical Assistance for this series will be provided in partnership with PACT: Helping Children with Special Needs, a program of the Kennedy Krieger Institute. An expert who provides care and support to families with young children with special needs will be the guest speaker during each technical assistance session. Attendance at BOTH sessions is required to receive a certificate.
Technical Assistance Dates:
Part 2: 2/6/23 – 6:30pm-7:30pm
Part 3: 2/13/23 – 6:30pm-7:30pm
Core of Knowledge Area for Parts 2 and 3: Professionalism (2 hours)
Each participant will need individual access to a computer, smartphone or tablet. Specific webinar access details will be sent prior to the training.
