Children will develop a sense of who they are and what is important within the context of culture. Whether at home or in child care, caregivers play a significant role as transmitters of culture. Cultural sensitivity begins with an awareness of early experiences and their influence on our current values and behavior.
Core of Knowledge Area: Community- 1 Hour, Professionalism- 1 Hour (Level: Beginner)
