Building Classroom Communities
Date/Time
Date(s) - Wednesday, September 22, 2021
6:30 pm - 9:30 pm
This training addresses the various components involved in creating a supportive classroom community. In such an environment, teachers and children come to know and care about each other and develop mutual regard and concern for each other, so everyone can learn and grow. The training explores the three major leadership styles and their impact on a classroom, and it demonstrates how to utilize essential skills for building positive relationships between all staff and children. The elements of a caring classroom community are identified; an action plan with practical and personalized strategies will be created so you can start the school year off on a great note!
