*Newly Revised* This training builds participants’ knowledge and understanding of the ways in which the expressive arts can enhance children’s literacy.  Participants learn specific and practical strategies for promoting literacy skills through movement, play, music and visual arts.  These strategies will assist teachers in creating learning environments which promote knowledge acquisition, creativity and positive self-esteem for all children, including those with disabilities.   In order to receive a certificate of completion for core of knowledge hours, providers MUST attend the entire series, including both technical assistance sessions.

September 6, 2023  (6:30 pm-9:30 pm)

Core of Knowledge Area:  Curriculum (2 hours) & Special Needs (1 hour)

Technical Assistance Sessions

Enhanced Technical Assistance for this series will be provided in partnership with The Lourie Center for Children’s Social and Emotional Wellness. Attendance at BOTH sessions is required to receive a certificate.

Technical Assistance Dates:

October 5, 2023 (6:30 pm-7:30 pm) 

Core of Knowledge Area: Professionalism (2 hours)

**Certificates for the entire series are given AFTER the second technical assistance session, please plan accordingly.**
