This interactive training provides participants with an overview of developmentally appropriate practices, as defined by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and shares practical strategies for creating a curriculum for school age and mixed age groups of children of all developmental ages and stages. Participants will learn how to implement individualized lessons that employ developmentally appropriate practices. This training provides many tips for creating fun and engaging learning opportunities for children. Setting up learning/interest areas appropriate and engaging for school age children and mixed age groups will be shared. Turn any type of area from a classroom to a cafeteria into an engaging age appropriate environment.
