Developmentally Appropriate Supervision

Participants will be able to describe the term supervision based upon COMAR Regulations, NAEYC’s best practices and identify strategies for both indoor and outdoor environments that allow for proper supervision at all times. Participants will determine appropriate interactions with children through active monitoring will ensure safety and maximize learning.
Core of Knowledge Area: Child Development (3 hours)
