Emergency Preparedness for Child Care Providers: Refresh Course

Thanks to funding provided by the Maryland State Department of Education, the registration fee for this event is only $5.

This training is perfect for teachers, aides, and other staff who are not responsible for creating an Emergency and Disaster Preparedness Plan.  It is also a great refresher for those who have had the 6 hour training in the past.  This training teaches child care providers to respond to and recover from emergencies.  Participants will identify and discuss emergencies that may affect their program.  Addressing the emotional needs of children will also be discussed.  Participants will identify resources to support emergency preparedness.  Participants should bring a copy of their program’s emergency plan to the training.

There will be a knowledge measure and training evaluation provided via Survey Monkey. The knowledge measure and training evaluation are required components of the webinar and have to be completed in order to receive a certificate of completion.
