This workshop is featuring JaVon Townsend LCSW-C, a licensed clinical social worker by training and a play enthusiast & artist by divine design. She is passionate about helping people live fuller, healthier lives through strengthening the mind-body connection, increasing self-knowledge and self-compassion, and cultivating community care. This workshop will focus on how narrative plays a powerful role in shaping the way we understand our experiences and how we view the world around us. In this interactive session, you will discuss various forms of narrative, how narrative impacts us, and practical considerations for utilizing various forms of narrative to create more equitable classrooms.
