Join us for a professional development event designed to help you support children birth to three years old who have special needs. This event is funded by the Maryland State Department of Education. Thanks to this funding, the registration fee for this event is only $5.
During this module, we will focus on establishing the critical foundation needed for developing an inclusive childcare program. We will identify leadership styles based on values and beliefs, and define your philosophy on inclusion. This training will also explore comprehensive and effective inclusion policies to include in your program handbook. Because building an effective team is critical, we will discuss strategies for recruiting, selecting and orienting staff and other team members.
This training is intended for directors and those in leadership positions.

Part 1: May 12th, 2022 – 6:30pm-9:30pm
Core of Knowledge Area for Part 1: Special Needs (2 hours) and Professionalism (1 hour)

Join us to create a plan for the next steps leaders can take in creating an inclusive environment.
Therapist and Leadership Coach, Goldfinch Wellness
Part 2: May 19, 2022 – 6:30pm-7:30pm
Part 3: June 1, 2022 – 6:30pm-7:30pm
Core of Knowledge Area for Parts 2 & 3: Professionalism (2 hours).
In order to receive a certificate of completion for core of knowledge hours, providers MUST attend the entire series, including all 3 parts.

Each participant will need individual access to a computer, smartphone or tablet. Specific webinar access details will be sent prior to the training.
