Language: The Key to Literacy

This training showcases the importance of how strong language skills promote literacy. Through a variety of activities, participants review ways to promote language development as highlighted by key research studies. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of how language impacts literacy and how to promote learning opportunities so that all children begin school with a wealth of words.
Core of Knowledge Area: Curriculum (2 hours), Child Development (1 hour)

Each participant will need individual access to a computer, smartphone or tablet. Specific webinar access details will be sent prior to the training.
