Outdoor Learning Opportunities: Bringing the Classroom Outdoors

Throughout this training, participants will discuss the importance of outdoor play for young children. Through discussion, pictures, and descriptive outdoor play scenarios, you will be exposed to ideas to bring the indoor classroom outdoors, including dramatic arts, visual arts, musical opportunities, nature journaling and gardening. You will use a checklist to self-reflect on your current practices and plan for the future.
