Abilities Network Project ACT is excited to announce a pre-service scholarship opportunity! This scholarship will cover the cost of preservice courses through ProSolutions, a virtual, asynchronous platform.

In Maryland, lead teachers must hold “90-hour” certification. This is comprised of 45-hour Child Growth and Development an 45-hour Infant Toddler/Preschool Methods and Materials. These can cost around $200 each! Additionally, applicants can apply for the 45-hour Director (Administrator) course required to be a director.

Eligibility: This scholarship is available to all child care educators in Baltimore, Harford and Cecil Counties who are looking to improve their skills and qualifications or those looking to enter the child care field.

Cost: The scholarship will cover the full cost of a pre-service course offered by ProSolutions

Where: The course will be through ProSolutions, and be delivered through a virtual, asynchronous platform.

When:  The application window will close November 17^th. Those awarded the scholarship will be notified in December.
