CHILD CARE TRAINING

We provide opportunities for child care professionals and parents across Maryland to receive training and mentoring in each of the Core of Knowledge domains. All trainings provide information and strategies for including all children in child care settings, particularly those children with special needs. Training participants can also receive Core of Knowledge hours for participating in on site follow up coaching sessions to help with implementing the strategies learned in the training.

Trainings are hands-on and interactive. They are available during daytime, evening and weekend hours to meet the needs of the program requesting professional development on site at their child care program. Trainings are also held at our Resource Center and individuals can register for these trainings by calling the Resource Center.
